Since the release of the Playstation VR this month. I heard it got good reviews, but has like $399 dollars for core bundle and $499 in its launch bundle.
And this makes me wonder if the future of video games will be VR (Virtual Reality) We have reach 2016 and it is presumed to be the year of VR. Still, technology has advanced well throughout the years. But as we learn from well known anime shows like Dot Hack and Sword Art Online, will those two franchises become reality?
I meant the part about being trapped in a MMO game and dying in it which will kill you in real life like in SAO. Hopefully, no one will ever do that, even if they are twisted and deranged.
And there are idiots out there saying Sony will abandon the VR like with they might do with the Vita, which I highly doubt since the Vita is a hit in Japan, but sadly not the USA.
Still, VR has me intrigued and maybe one day I will try out the PS VR one day. Just the thought of being in a virtual world is amazing and stuff, but also thrilling and curious and frightening.
And I have seen good reviews on the PS VR, Sony must have done well for it to be this popular. I guess this year is the year of VR like people claimed it is.
But sadly, there aren't any good VR games that interested me at least for now. Hopefully, JRPGs will be included in PS VR games.
Anyway, if you want to experience being in a Virtual reality world (Not like SAO and Dot Hack, mind you! XD) for your game console, I highly suggest the PS VR or if you're a PC guy, try the Occlus Rift.
